Christopher Mills is a registered builder with an unlimited license and has 15 years’ experience in the building industry. Christopher has project managed many commercial projects over the years.  Chris started out in the construction industry by completing his carpentry apprentice and soon after proceeded into Project Management and uses PRINCE2 methodology. Chris gained his experience and Builders Registration through his construction company which has been in business for 9 years.  The 15 years of professional experience has been gained through a wide range of multi-disciplinary projects, working in both government and private organisations and both commercial and residential projects, over the past 6 months over 80 projects have been completed under Chris’s management,

Calvin Kirk is a Nationally Registered Chartered Professional Civil Engineer (BEHons – Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, MIEAust – Member of Institution of Australia – Civil College, CPEng – Chartered Professional Engineer – Civil College, NPER – National Professional Engineers Register) with over 12 years’ experience in design and construction across a range of roles including; Engineer, Construction Manager, Project Manager (DipPM – Diploma of Project Management – Australian Institute of Project Management) and Operations Manager.  Calvin has strong multidisciplinary project management experience encompassing design, scheduling, procurement, cost control, contract administration and quality control and has demonstrated capability in delivering projects across a range of industry sectors and remote sites.  Calvin is known for his practical approach to design and problem solving through his time managing construction projects for the Contractor.

Brett Smith is our plumbing and air-conditioning services specialist, Brett and his team have been operating in WA for over 15 years providing servicing, maintenance and support services for all our commercial and industrial air conditioning, heating, ventilation and associated mechanical disciplines, they embrace the latest technologies and maintain a large, modern well-equipped fleet of service vehicles, which are manned by highly qualified service technicians who are trained to look at the bigger picture.

Josh Hamilton has 15 years’ experience in the roofing industry and heads our roofing team, Josh has undertaken numerous private, commercial and government jobs in and around WA.  As a team their experience includes but isn’t limited to erecting edge protection and safety equipment, removing old or damaged iron, tiles or other materials from roofs, they do minor repairs to the structure of roofs, cut roofing materials to size and fix roofing and cladding to buildings and install spouting, downpipes and flashing as well as various other tasks required.

Debbie Feen is a qualified Management Accountant (CIMA – Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and CGMA – Chartered Global Management Accountants) with 22 years’ experience in accounting.  Debbie qualified in London where she worked in the Oil and Gas industry.  Since Debbie has been in Perth she has been the Management accountant for a major West Australian infrastructure company, and then moved into a world renowned IT and consultancy company before joining The RKM Building Group.  Debbie moved into Project accounting in 2010 and has since become a Practitioner PRINCE2 Project Manager.  Debbie is responsible for all office management including the Monthly and annual financials as well as being on site for projects as a Project Manager.

John Brennan is RKM Building Groups main Site Foreman, John has 8 years’ experience in the commercial building industry and has worked in both the government and private building sectors.  John is responsible for creating working schedule for workers, placing orders for needed equipment and materials, ensuring that work is always in good progress, keeping management updated on project development and ensuring the safety of workers is guaranteed at all times.

Tony Klijn is a Structural Engineer with more than 20 years of experience. Tony is a structural engineering consultant specializing in design and documentation of residential, industrial and commercial projects.  Tony specializes in low-rise residential individual houses and multiple unit developments, Commercial developments such as low-rise office buildings, shopping centres, showrooms etc. Industrial sheds and ‘tilt-up’ buildings including buildings with gantry cranes. Refurbishments, extensions and additions to a variety of buildings. He uses the latest ‘AutoCAD’ computer aided design and drafting package and the latest ‘Space Gass’ structural analysis package. Tony’s approach is that every project is treated on an individual bases where he employs the most economic structural design, materials selection and construction design methods to give our clients the best design that will enable quick and efficient construction.

Hamish Boyce has 25 years’ experience in the construction industry specialising in asbestos removal and is a licensed asbestos remover. Hamish has completed numerous asbestos removal jobs in the private, commercial and government industries.  Hamish ensures that the strict guidelines outlined in the building regulations for the safe removal of the asbestos are adhered to at all times
