Research Centre Kensington – Project Replace 2 West Wing Facades

This project mandate included the restoration of the west wing facades. All pre inspection services were undertaken by a structural engineer to assess the structural capability of the existing structure.  2 x 30-Meter-high scaffold towers were erected including material lifts and hording protection of the glass facades.  Mobilisation of the restoration works started with our James Hardie Exotec reclad team demolishing the existing structure and then restoring the external components.  35% of this project was completed with the use of a 160ft EWP.

Research Centre Floreat

Project to assess the detrition of the existing masonry cladding and the reconstruction.

This project mandate included securing the perimeter of the site for the safe removal of the deteriorating 5 story masonry wall and reinstatement including all safety documentation, site inductions and traffic management systems.

Commonage Close Swiss villa development

Completed in mid-2007 Commonage Villas are premium luxury villas the newest and most exclusive luxury accommodation has been designed and appointed to deliver the pinnacle of home-away-from-home living consisting of 16 1, 2 and 3 bedroom villas.
The development of the Commonage Villas was a $16m project build of this spectacular resort which started in 2004 and finished in 2007. Christopher was involved in the handling of a variety of aspects of the project from feasibility analysis, value engineering and programming as well as the actual building of the resort whilst ensuring exceptional standards were met on time and to budget.

Pawsey Centre

Super computer dehumidifier platform

This project mandate included all engineering, structural shop drawings, steel prefabrication and the construction of the Pawsey Centre super computer dehumidifier platform, all scope was undertaken in extreme confined spaces under strict codes of practice due to the high value and technical specifications of the computer. 2 x 500 kg dehumidifiers were lifted into place once the platform was constructed using a technical gantry crane.

ARRC Chiller upgrade

Commercial Steel prefabrication and construction – In progress

This project mandate included all engineering, structural shop drawings, steel prefabrication and the construction of the ARRC Chiller upgrade, we are currently in the process of completing this project

Civil works Kensington and Waterford

The construction of a new carpark including asphalt, curbing, parking line drawing and drainage

Floreat – Commercial asbestos removal and reinstatement

Large asbestos removal including pre assessment, safe removal adhering to the strict Australian standards for asbestos removal including air monitoring and safe disposal of the materials. The duration of this particular project was 8 weeks, we have also completed many other smaller asbestos removal projects.

UWA Research Centre

Project East Façade Remedial Works.

This project mandate included the restoration of the eastern block including the restoration due to the weather impact and external sheet aging.

Westpac Belmont

Full external restoration project

The project mandate included the full external restoration of the Westpac building, including a new Westpac sign.
